Work was considered smooth-flowing today. However, had a lengthy email to reply to. There goes my upselling for the Presidental Suite. The booker emailed me a string of questions for me to answer. Realised that the family will be travelling with 2 children. As per our hotel's policy, children below the age of 12 is restricted on the Club floor and that suite is on that floor. DAMN!!!
In the end, reserved a 2 bedroom suite in the deluxe category for them. Asked me questions like, the dimensions of the room, bathroom, facilities in and outside the hotel, tours around Singapore, Cruise from Singapore... That is about all I guess...
When Ein Ein was about to step out for lunch, I begin reading the mail. When she returned, I was still replying to the mail. I think I spent 1 hour only on that mail. Goodness...
Left at 4.45pm. Called Dear at 5pm... followed by 5.10pm. For both tries, he did not pick up my call at all. Are we still meeting then? Decided to go and pluck my eye brows and do french manicure while waiting for him to call me. So sorry Elaine, I went to pluck my eyebrows first. Do not worry, will still go to Bugis tomorrow to accompany you...
Wanted to do pedicure as well. However, they were caught with appointments after that. Made an appointment with them on Friday at 5pm. Hope I am able to get there in time...
Dear have not called me after my manicure. Called him again. It was after 6pm already then. He woke up and picked up my call. Went to get ready and came to meet me at City Hall MRT Station.
While waiting for him, I walked around the shopping malls. Met Darlene at City Link. At Suntec City, met Aaron and Adeline. Not once but twice!!! DID not know what to talk to them either. Just a smile to them and I walk off. Do not know why but I just felt like buying something for Annice. Bought the Hello Kitty cutlery set for her. Wanted to get that for her for her brthday initially. But I could not find it then. Had no time to shop for it then either.
Walked towards the MRT station to meet Dear then. He walked toward Suntec City as well. In the end, we met outside MPH bookstore. Walked to Raffles Place for dinner. Did not have satay this time round. Tried the Indian food at the Indian restaurant. HAd their fish head curry. Nice!!! All I can say is Dear and Daddy are of the same kind. Really know which part of the fish taste the best. =)
After dinner, just chilled out around that area and slowly walk to Amara.
In the bus, I felt very sleepy. Keep dozing off. When I finally woke up, I realised I had miss the bus stop opposite Heartland Mall. Quickly alighted at the next available stop. Luckily at that bus stop, there is still bus 112 for me to take home. Otherwise, I really have to crack my brain to find my way home...
